Notes: I've been into vampires for a long time now and I've written a fic for my other favourite pairing (Jared Leto/Colin Farrell). The vampires I write about are characters based on the Anne Rice vampires, which means their face doesn't change, they do not go out in sunlight, they do not sparkle, they have a reflection and are very powerfull in different ways.. and they do not change into bats.

The weekend spent together with the family in law were not all that fun. There was really nothing to do at that place we stayed and everyone got pretty bored with the situation. Thankfully only four days and the Saturday Tom and I went to visit a town closeby since nobody wanted to come with us. They predicted rain but we had sunshine and 18° so good enough for me.
Due to that pesky allergy I couldn't go cooking on Tuesday, which sucked. It still isn't much better. I have been taking a double dosage, but when I cut it back to a single dosage everything comes back again. I'll probably have to go and see a dermatologist. I might postpone getting my wisdom teeth out too, because I have no idea how I will react to the anasthetic now. It sucks... -sigh-
Two nights ago we went to see the Great Gatsby. I love the movie! It's one of Baz Luhrmann's finest, but then again I adore every movie the man has made. Still looking for 'Strictly Ballroom' if anyone comes across it at some point. I'm not going to give away the story, but it's nothing like you expect. The new Star Trek will probably be the next one we'll go and see in theatres.
Ohoh, and Tom told me he has almost found our holiday destination for next year. It's either going to be Vietnam or Bali. Exotic, huh? :) I kind of hope that it'll be nice, but I think it will. It's going to be a guided travel so that we don't end up on the wrong plane, or taxi or whatever. It's good to be looking forward to something like that.
We might repaint the living room this summer. Will report about that later.
In the mean time I hoped everyone enjoyed their weekend and enjoys the week!

That was the good news... Oh no, one more thing. I had a shitty week at work last week because of the big work load, but we got something out of it. Hopefully two large orders will follow later in the year. So yay! But we're already on to next week for another one of those fine competitions. Oh well.
My colleague is back and she has been directed to our boss, so she now has to help her out instead of me. I don't really mind, I have done the job on my own for seven months, I can manage now too.
Now on to my elephant feet. Saturday I ate some cereal for breakfast. Half an hour later my back started to itch. Are you beginning to get the picture? Oh yeah, you got it!
By Saturday night my whole skin was an itchy rash. I didn't sleep from Saturday through Sunday and went to the doctor's, who said it was some form of allergy. I could some powder against the itching (doesn't work a bit!) and then some anti-allergy pills. Two days in a row my feet were so swollen and painful that I couldn't stand on them.
Thankfully today is a bit better.
The day after tomorrow we are leaving for a long weekend with Tom's family. I do hope I'm in a better condition by then.
So everybody thumbs up for me for getting through the weekend and getting rid of that damned allergy! Thank you!
